Introduction to the evening news 02-12-2012

Rhetoric tensions are racing against field tensions. In fact, speeches made both in Sidon and Tripoli raised political tensions with the common denominator being attacks against Syria and Hezbollah. Herein lies the question: What will be the nature of the response? When and where will it take place?

This as ambiguity is still surrounding the fate of the Lebanese Islamists which were the target of Talkalakh’s ambush. In fact, the statements made by the Syrian regime were contradictory to those made in Tripoli.

In Syria, battles took an escalatory turn with the strong involvement of the Air Force in the battles.

In Egypt, the crisis is worsening as Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court postponed its work indefinitely due to psychological and material pressures.
