REPORT: Israeli Commandos unit monitors chemical weapons in Syria

The UN increased the number of peacekeepers in the border region of Golan, declaring that it is ready to protect its members from increasing threats inside Syria and face the peril of Syrian Army using chemical weapons, while Canada expressed it wishes to withdraw its UN soldiers amid news of increasing danger.

In this regard, Israeli Intelligence issued reports in which it confirmed that some of its members and a commandos unit are working inside the Syrian territories to monitor the chemical weapons.  

According to Israel, chemical weapons are a great danger that threatens several countries and therefore they are a "red line" that the Israeli will make sure it will not be crossed.  

The reports also included photos that Israel claims they were taken by satellites and US and Israeli drone aircrafts, revealing that its intelligence has been monitoring the chemical armament of Syria since 5 years and knows exactly where the chemical weapons are stored.  

The Israeli Intelligence confessed conducting secret operations to hinder any attempt to use these weapons.  

The reports added that amid increasing concerns of the use of chemical weapons in "secret unknown regions", Israel demands to participate in any military operation in Syria conducted by either US, Turkish, British or French forces.
