Introduction to the evening news 12-12-2012

12-12-2012, a date that will not be repeated before one hundred years, but the events that happened on this day, are repeated almost every day.

The most important event on this day was the judicial war between Lebanon and Syria.

The Lebanese Judiciary raised a request for the presence of Syrian Major General Ali Mamlouk and his assistant Colonel Adnan for January 14, 2013. As for Political and Media Adviser to President Bashar al-Assad, Buthayna Chaaban, the Judiciary is yet to set a date.

On the other hand, the Attorney General in Damascus said that the investigative judge issued three arrest warrants in absentia against MPs Saad Hariri and Okab Sakr and the Syrian citizen Loay Mokdad.

In Lebanon, other wars are taking place.

The Cabinet has officially rejected the ISF Intelligence Bureau's request pertaining to the handover of complete telecom data, and limited the data delivery to the phone numbers of those suspected.

Simultaneously, a meeting was chaired by PM Najib Mikati at the Grand Serail to discuss what was raised regarding a list of security threatened persons.

The other war is related to the series of ranks and salaries; a war between the cabinet after its failure in forwarding the pay scale to the parliament and the Syndicate Coordinating Committee which held a strike today and promised more escalatory measures.
