REPORT: retirement salaries, and pay scale funding sources

A new complex related to the series of ranks and salaries has emerged on Wednesday: the fear in the inflation retirees' pensions, and their growing number seemingly since they are today, 81 thousand and 300 retirees.

In this context, the finance ministry decided to subject the retirement salaries and compensations to income taxes and raise pension rebates from 6 to 8 percent, and limit the advantages of retirement pensions.


The civil service board did not approve on these adjustments, and many ministers rejected these alterations.


In this framework, Minister of State Panos Manjian called for searching for funding sources of the pay scale in various corrupted sector such as the airport, marine properties, and Solidere.
