REPORT: Preparations for Miss Universe 2012 continue as final countdown begins

The qualifying finals of Miss Universe 2012 have begun as 89 contestants introduced themselves and their countries for the first time in front of the jury. The contest will be aired live from Las Vegas on Wednesday

The first contest included 3 shows: an introductory show, a gown show and a bikini show.

Thousands of citizens came from across the world to Planet Hollywood Theater in Las Vegas each to support the contestant representing his/her country. Lebanon’s Rina Chibani managed to get many points from the Lebanese diaspora in Las Vegas and fans of different nationalities.
