REPROT: Douma village preserves Christmas traditions

Despite sayings that "Christmas has been lost and materialized", it remains the most celebrated holiday.

In Lebanese villages Christmas is simply better.

In Douma, the old traditions are still practiced. The residents gather around the stove, exchange toasts and head to the church at midnight to participate in the solemn mass.

An old lady remembers her past and tells the story of celebrated Christmases and how people reconciled on this occasion.
