REPORT: Border residents' scenario of clashes between "Hezbollah" & Syrian rebels

A clash erupted Saturday overnight on the Lebanese-Syrian borders between Syrian residents loyal to Lebanon's Hezbollah and Syrian rebels.

Hezbollah remained silent and refused to comment on the incident. However, a number of residents who live on the border region of Hermel are reporting the details of the battle.

According to the residents, the clash erupted in the border zone that includes the Lebanese town of Al-Kasr and the Syrian towns of Juseh, Al-Kassir and Zeyta.

The scenario of the residents indicates that when hundreds of Syrian militants headed to the Al-Hamam region where Lebanese nationals live to take over the town, popular committees (Hezbollah) attacked back.

The popular committees say that two Lebanese citizens from the Msarra and Medlege families were killed during the fight.
