REPORT: PSP and Hezbollah discuss electoral law

A delegation from the Progressive Socialist Party and another from Hezbollah met on Tuesday at the residence of Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan to discuss the electoral law.

In this context, Hezbollah expressed its support to the proposal of Head of Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun; whereas, the PSP expressed its support to any electoral law that all factions of the society agree upon.

The Secretary General of the PSP Zafer Naser said that there is a chance to reach a political solution regarding the elections and stressed that discussing the political entitlements which will be faced after the elections makes it easier to reach electoral solutions.

As for the Syrian file, Zafer called on all parties not to intervene in the crisis since it will leave negative impacts on the Lebanese internal situation.
