REPORT: Issue of high-voltage power lines continues in Mansourieh

During Wednesday's session, the cabinet approved the completion of the remaining works related to high-tension power lines set to be extended in the region from Mansourieh, Ain Saadeh to Beit Meri.

A number of Ministers followed up on the work of the committee tasked with this issue and concluded that the high-tension wires do not pose any threat, giving the owners of residential apartments a one-month deadline to sell their houses.

This report examines the positions of the ministers in charge and the stances of the residents who are rejecting this project.
