REPORT: Argentina celebrates pope's election

Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina was elected on Wednesday, in a surprise choice to lead the Roman Catholic Church.

Taking the name of Francis I, and becoming the first non-European pope in nearly 1,300 years, the pope was celebrated worldwide.

However his native Argentina celebrated in its own way.

This report will examine the reactions of the Argentinean people following the election of their countryman as the Catholic church's leader.
