REPORT: Iran welcomes the Newroz festival

The Iranian markets are witnessing heavy crowds during the Newroz festivities, where the Iranians leave their homes and head to the markets to buy new things, at least for their homes and for themselves. They say that they must change their lives in this holiday, when “the new spring gives birth to a new life.”

This report will examine the many stories and rituals behind the Newroz holiday and will expose the way the Iranian people celebrate this annual tradition.
