REPORT: Lebanese campaign calling for Jihad in Syria

A campaign that calls for Jihad in Syria kicked off in Lebanon today whereby citizens began filling forms with personal data related to their marital statuses, relatives, neighbors, work experiences, and their military experiences.

This report will examine the Imam of Bilal bin Rabah mosque Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir’s stance concerning calls for Jihad activities in Syria as well as his opinion in regards to Hezbollah’s participation in the Syrian war.
