REPORT: A different look at effect of the rising influx of Syrian refugees into Lebanon

While the issue of the rising influx of Syrian refugees into Lebanon constitutes a deep concern for some people who say that their growing number is creating a heavy burden on the Lebanese economy, economic analysts on the other hand, indicate that this flow of refugees is opening many unexpected opportunities for disadvantaged rural areas.

In this report, economic analysts will explain how the increasing number of Syrians in Lebanon can have positive effects on the national growth despite the excessive pressure on public services such as hospitals, electricity and transportation.
