REPORT: Vacancies emerge at the Military Council

Vacancies emerged in the Military Council with the retirement of Major Generals Michel Mnayyar, Abdul Rahman al-Shehaitli and Nicolas Mezher leading to the loss of the legal quorum.

The Council is formed of 6 members and needs five members in it to convene or it will lose its decision-making authorities.

This report will shed light on the efforts exerted by the Lebanese Armed Forces leadership to appoint new members for the Military Council.
