REPORT: Lebanese nationals trapped in Brussels, their luggage held hostage

The employees of the baggage handler 'Swissport' company at Brussels airport kicked off a strike on Sunday May 13th, to protest against an insufficient number of staff which has resulted in an increasing load of work. The strike led to a state of chaos while the luggage of the passengers, including Lebanese nationals, was held at the airport.

This report will expose the point of view of the Middle East Airlines company which has not informed its passengers of the possibility of such an incident, and will examine the efforts deployed in order to solve this issue.
