REPORT: Lebanese Armed Forces keen on Lebanon's security and stability

Military sources told LBCI that the Lebanese Armed Forces did not withdraw from Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen and Bab el-Tebbaneh; but instead, members were removed from some regions that are being under continuous gunfire and shelling.

The sources added that the LAF will not give up on its duties in regards to maintaining the entire country's security and stability.

The sources also mentioned that it is for the benefit of the people and the armed forces not to impose tight security measures as long as it is possible to solve such conflicts via dialogue.

This report will shed light on the stance of the Lebanese Armed Forces in light of the clashes that erupted in Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen and Bab el-Tebbaneh leaving at least 20 people including 2 LAF soldiers dead and more than 200 wounded.
