REPORT: Israel's Netanyahu vows to destroy the S-300 missiles

Security and military Israeli officials said that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is avoiding the truth in regards to the arrival of the first batch of S-300 missiles, adding that they will be taking severe measures regarding Assad’s threats of opening a front in the occupied Golan Heights.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin, and vowed to destroy these missiles before preparing them for use.

Israeli security officials are rejecting the Russian-Syrian interpretation which says that these weapons are defensive, and mentioned that the Israeli air force bases and aircrafts are the most prominent targets of these missiles.

This report will examine the Israeli point of view regarding the Russian S-300 missiles as well as the stance of PM Netanyahu.
