REPORT: Abboud launches the Batroun International Festival, urges expats to visit Lebanon

Caretaker Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud launched on Wednesday the Batroun International Festival 2013 in the presence of outgoing caretaker Minister Gebran Bassil as well as other senior officials and journalists.

The Batroun International Festival includes musical evenings for different Lebanese and international artists, an open air party, touristic tours and art exhibitions.

In this regard, Minister Abboud urged the Lebanese expatriates to visit Lebanon during the summer season, assuring that Lebanon remains the best tourism destination, despite of all challenges facing the country.

This report will examine the program of the Batroun International Festival 2013 as well as the stance of Tourism Minister Abboud.
