REPORT: Constitutional council to take ‘fateful’ decision within 2 days

The constitutional council is set to take a ‘fateful’ decision in regards to the appeal, submitted by President Michel Sleiman and the Free Patriotic Movement, challenging the extension of parliament’s mandate.

This report will examine the different standpoints and will provide a closer look at the parliamentary majority that may vote in favor of the appeal.
