• Hezbollah leader Sayyed Nasrallah to deliver a televised speech on June 14

Sources told An-Nahar newspaper on Sunday that the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Asiri met with the head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad.

Sources added that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will deliver a televised speech on June 14 on the occasion of "Wounded Veterans Day", tackling the latest developments, mainly the control of the Syrian regime troops of al-Qusayr town.

• Sunnite highest seat of learning, Al-Azhar slams Hezbollah Chief latest stances

Scholars of Sunnite Islam's highest seat of learning, Al-Azhar in Cairo told Asharq Alawsat newspaper on Sunday that they hail the role of the Saudi Arabia Kingdom in addressing the interests of the Sunnite sect "vis-a-vis the Shiite invasion."

Scholars also slammed Hezbollah military interference is Syria's al-Qusayr and the latest stances of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah pertaining to the Syrian crisis.

According to the Daily, the scholars also urged for the issuing of a Fatwa to warn against Sayyed Nasrallah's stances and the party's funding sources.

• US report slams Hezbollah military interference in Syria

Al-Joumhouria newspaper said on Sunday that it received a copy of the report issued by the US administration on the situation in Syria and Lebanon.

According to the report, the US administration is "certain" about Hezbollah's military interference in Syria's al-Qusayr, adding that Iran is providing the Syrian regime troops and Hezbollah's fighters with weapons through Lebanon's Bekaa region.

The report added that the US administration discussed with the Lebanese authorities Lebanon's self-dissociation policy, noting that Washington remains committed to spare Lebanon any repercussion of the Syrian crisis.

• The Constitutional Council to issue decision over  extension of parliament's mandate

Sources told An-Nahar newspaper on Sunday that the head of the Constitutional Council Issam Sleiman will submit on Monday his reading pertaining to the appeal of the extension of the parliament's mandate.

Sources added that the Council will convene in the next few days to issue a decision in this regard.
