He added that the Arab League wants to know if the Lebanese side will contribute to taking a first step toward resolving the crisis.

Zaki’s comments were made to Sky News Arabia whereby he noted that what he concluded at the end of this tour to meet Lebanese leaders is “that everyone adheres to a positive and healthy relationship with Saudi Arabia and all the Gulf states.”

On another note, Zaki denied reports stating that the Arab League’s delegation held a meeting with representatives of Hezbollah, stressing that he did not meet with any representatives of parties in Lebanon, other than the country’s officials.

He concluded by pointing out that "he will present the Lebanese position to the Secretary-General of the Arab League, to see how to act accordingly such as communicating with the Saudi side and other concerned countries."
