Al-Qaeda branch-off adopts Iraq attacks

An Al-Qaeda branch-off, also known as, the Islamic State of Iraq Militant Group adopted on Saturday the attacks that swept across Iraq this week, which killed and wounded dozens.

The group claimed the name, "Battle of the blessed Wednesday" to the series of coordinated attacks, which included the bombing of an 18 explosive charges 18 and 18 car bombs and the launch of 6 armed attacks in Hilla, Karbala, Mosul, Kirkuk, Diyala, Salahuddin, Anbar, Baghdad and surrounding areas.
