While Tlass keeps silence, his brother speaks out for Syrian revolution

At a time when the defected Syrian Brigadier General Munaf Tlass kept silence, his businessman brother, Firas Tlass, revealed that he extended aid, but not arms, to the Free Syrian Army.

The FSA vehemently criticized Munaf Tlass’ “silence”, describing his defection as part of an international scenario concocting a certain solution.

Firas highlighted ongoing contacts with the leader of the FSA - Farouk Brigade, Abdul Razzak Tlass, reiterating his support of the Syrian revolution which he describes as a “legitimate right”.

Tlass also called for civil disobedience across Syria, maintaining that President Bashar Assad is not “part of the solution”.
