A Palestinian boy was killed after Israeli army forces fired toward him near the separation wall, west of the city of Ramallah in the West Bank, Palestinian medical and security sources said on Tuesday.                   

Samir Ahmed Awad (17 years) who hails from the village of Budrus, west of Ramallah was killed by two bullets, one in the foot and another in the chest, fired by members of an Israeli patrol near the barrier erected by Israel on the borders of the West Bank.                   

The spokesman said the Israeli army told AFP that a Palestinian tried to infiltrate into Israel through the security fence, noting that soldiers initially aimed their weapons at his legs.
