Tunisian firefighters continue to fight forest fire in border area with Algeria

The Tunisian firefighting teams continued their efforts to extinguish a raging forest fire that has been ongoing for two days in the Mloula region (northwest) near the border with Algeria, according to the Civil Protection on Thursday.

The regional director of Civil Protection told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that "the firefighting operations are ongoing, coordinated with the army, which has allocated an aircraft to reach the fires in difficult areas."
