At least 17 killed in Rohingya migrant boat sinking off Burma

At least 17 people were killed off the coasts of Burma in the sinking of a boat carrying migrants from the Rohingya minority, who were attempting to leave the country, relief teams announced on Thursday. 

Byar La, a rescuer from the Shwe Yaung Metta Foundation, told Agence France-Presse, "We found 17 bodies," adding that around 30 people are considered missing.
