US urges N. Korea to cancel imminent launch of satellite

The United States called on Tuesday upon North Korea to cancel its imminent plan to launch a satellite, emphasizing that such an action constitutes a violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions.

A spokesperson for the US Department of State stated, "We urge North Korea to refrain from any further unlawful activity and call on Pyongyang to pursue a serious and sustainable diplomatic path."
