France strongly condemns the bombing of a hospital in Gaza

France has expressed its "strong condemnation" for the bombing that targeted a hospital in the city of Gaza on Tuesday evening. Hamas accused Israel of carrying out the attack, while the Israeli state attributed responsibility to the Islamic Jihad Movement.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a release, "International humanitarian law is binding on all and must allow for the protection of civilian populations. Humanitarian aid must be granted access to the Gaza Strip without delay."
