Armenian PM announces signing of peace agreement with Azerbaijan in November

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that Yerevan will sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan next month, following weeks of Baku regaining control of the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region after an operation against Armenian separatists.

Pashinyan stated on Thursday during a speech at a global economic forum in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, that Yerevan and Baku “will sign a peace agreement and establish diplomatic relations next month.”
