UK Foreign Secretary urges Israel to reduce civilian casualties in Gaza Strip

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron urged Israel on Tuesday to adopt a "more targeted approach" in its war against Hamas.

Cameron, speaking in Rome after his meeting with Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani, told reporters, "What we ask of Israel is to acknowledge that it must limit civilian casualties and respect international humanitarian law at all times while continuing its war against Hamas, taking these considerations into account."
