Germany: Strikes against Houthis aim to prevent further attacks in the Red Sea

The German Foreign Ministry said on Friday that the strikes carried out by Britain and the United States overnight against military targets of the Houthi rebels in Yemen were aimed at preventing further attacks in the Red Sea.

The ministry posted X: "Our goal remains to calm tensions and restore stability in the Red Sea."
