US to impose new sanctions on Iran due to its support for Russia (White House)

The United States intends to impose "additional sanctions" on Iran due to its support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, announced the White House spokesperson on Thursday.

John Kirby stated, "In response to Iran's continued support for the brutal Russian war, we will impose additional sanctions on Iran in the coming days, and we are prepared to take further action if Iran sells ballistic missiles to Russia."
