Five killed after small plane crashes in Nashville, USA

The Nashville Police Department announced early Tuesday that five people were killed after a single-engine plane crashed near a highway in the city.

The police stated on the X platform that the plane crashed off the eastbound lanes after the Charlotte Pike exit, adding that efforts are ongoing to determine the location from which the plane took off.

The police said that the Federal Aviation Administration is currently present at the scene of the accident.
