Spain announces a €20 million aid to UNRWA

On Thursday, the Spanish government announced additional aid worth 20 million euros to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to address the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares announced this aid during a joint press conference with the agency's Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, who reiterated the call for opening land crossings to Gaza to deliver humanitarian aid.
