Russia, US hold talks regarding non-deployment of nuclear weapons in space

The Russian news agency TASS reported on Thursday that Sergei Ryabkov, the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that Moscow and Washington are currently engaged in talks concerning the non-deployment of nuclear weapons in space.

Reuters reported in February that US intelligence believes Russia may be developing a device powered by nuclear energy to deceive, disrupt, or destroy electronic devices within satellites. Russia has repeatedly denied these allegations.
