Moscow says it has no military or geopolitical interest in attacking NATO countries

The Russian news agency TASS reported that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said NATO forces pose additional threats to Russia by approaching the country's borders, but Moscow has no military or geopolitical interest in attacking the alliance's member states.

He also stated on Friday that Washington is deliberately prolonging the conflict in Ukraine by exerting unprecedented pressures, including pressures on its partners.
