Trump comments on Ukraine air defense 'extremely important': EU's Kallas

On Thursday, the EU's top diplomat, Kaja Kallas, welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump's agreement to help Kyiv source additional air defense systems, including in Europe.

"I very much welcome the announcement by President Trump that the US is trying to find additional air defenses for Ukraine," Kallas told reporters upon arrival at talks by EU leaders in Brussels. "This is extremely important."
