Sources told LBCI on Friday that terrorist Monzer al-Hassan was seen leaving the northern region of al-Beddawi towards Akkar's outskirts.

The same sources added that security apparatuses are still searching for him.

According to well-informed sources, the investigations revealed that al-Hassan is the link between ISIL, al-Nusra Front and the terrorists, noting that he got paid an amount of USD 50 thousand in exchange for the logistical services he provided. The sources added that he guaranteed the terrorists’ stay at various hotels.

In this regard, eye witnesses reported that al-Hassan met with the Raouche suicide bombers four days ahead of the attack.

On Thursday, Lebanon's General Security circulated the photo of al-Hassan who is suspected to be the man who provided explosive belts to the network that was raided at the Duroy Hotel in Beirut's Raouche region.          

Al-Monzer Khaldoun al-Hassan (24) holds the Swedish citizenship under the name of "Monzer Al Hassan".           

According to information made available, the fugitive uses two vehicles, a beige Nissan and a grey Mercedes 2005, which are thought to be loaded with explosives.           

A suicide bomber blew himself up at the Duroy Hotel in Beirut's Raouche region on Wednesday as General Security forces were conducting a raid, wounding several people, including members from the General Security.           

The attack is the third blast in the country in less than a week.
