Mikati meets with Berri to discuss Paris visit

Speaker Nabih Berri met with PM Najib Mikati in Ain El Tineh on Wednesday for a general discussion.

Following the meeting, Mikati said that he briefed Berri on a number of subjects that were raised in Paris, adding that the government will continue its work. “There are no problems within the cabinet and when everything is settled I will convene a session”, Mikati said.

Berri also met with Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders along with his accompanying delegation and Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon Colette Taquet in the presence of Amal Foreign relations officer former minister Talal Al Sahili.

As part of Wednesday’s parliamentary meeting, Berri met with MPs Ali Fayyad, Ali Ammar, Hikmat Dib, Michel Moussa, Ali Bazzi, Ghazi Zaiter, Hani Kobeissy and Qassem Hachem.
