REPORT: PSP files new complaint against Ogero head
The Progressive Socialist Party filed on Thursday a new complaint against the head of the state-owned Ogero telecommunications company, Abdel Mouneum Youssef, who is being investigated over corruption charges.

The party’s legal team filed a new complaint against Youssef at Beirut's Justice Palace before the Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim.

The complaint focuses on funds that Youssef reportedly received from the ministry of telecommunications as value-added tax (VAT).

According to the team of lawyers, Youssef is not entitled to receive such funds.

“This complaint should be handled in seriously,” PSP lawyer Nashaat Hosni said.

He added that the new complaint “comprises documents that raise serious doubts on embezzlement and abuse of duties with the intention of producing damage to the telecommunications sector.”
