REPORT: Dialogue session focuses on government reactivation
The fourteenth round of national talks was held on Wednesday at Ain el-Tineh and a new session was scheduled for the 17th of February.
 
MP Ali Fayyad said the session was productive, pointing out that the most important thing was announcing the agreement over the military appointments and the reactivation of the governmental work.
 
In this regard, sources said that head of the Future bloc MP Fouad Siniora raised during the session the issue of the Military Court, while all the conferees stressed the need to protect the judiciary.
 
Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun did not attend the session and was represented by Free Patriotic Movement leader Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and MP Hikmat Dib.
 
Also, Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumbaltt did was attend the session and was represented by MP Ghazi al-Aridi.
