Protesters shutdown UNRWA's headquarters in Beirut

Palestinian refugees demonstrated Wednesday outside UNRWA’s headquarters in Beirut, forcing its shutdown.

The Refugees gathered from all around Lebanon based on a request from Palestinian political parties, popular and civil committees, in aims of exerting pressure on UNRWA to retract its last decision to cut health care aids to refugee families.

The Palestinian refugees have been protesting for months against the UN agency’s decision to cut health care and educational services.
