Syrian security forces arrest girl raising banner to end killings outside Parliament

Syrian security forces arrested a girl who stood outside the Parliament on Sunday, raising a banner calling for an end to the killing.

Video footage published on the Internet by activists showed the young girl wearing red and raising the banner to the applause of bystanders.

Deeb al-Dimashqi, a member of the Syrian Revolution Council said that the activist raised a banner that read “stop the killing” and stood outside Parliament. She was then joined by a number of young people who were later arrested by security forces.
