Human chain outside Beirut’s UN headquarters

A number of Lebanese and Bahrainis staged a human chain outside the UN headquarters in Riad Solh Square at the request of the Bahraini Forum for Human Rights.

The protest demanded the release of the international human rights activist Abdul Hadi al-Khawaja, who has been on hunger strike for more than two months in Bahraini regime prisons, as well as all prisoners of conscience in the Bahraini prisons.
