Naser al-Arabi released after being detained by Syrian forces in Kfar Qouq
Lebanese national Naser al-Arabi was released on Wednesday after he was detained by Syrian forces in the outskirts of Kfar Qouq town, in Rachaya. The Syrian forces opened fire at 3 Lebanese citizens, including al-Arabi, Rami al-Asmar and Bilal Zeineddine .        

Al-Asmar was killed in the shooting while Zeineddine is still at large.          

It has been reported that the three Lebanese men were trying to smuggle tobacco into Syria but were caught in an ambush by the Syrian forces along the international border in the north east of Kfar Qouq town.
