Syrian President Bashar Assad sent a letter to President Michel Aoun, congratulating him on the occasion of Lebanon’s Independence Day.
Assad stressed his keenness on boosting “the brotherly relations between both countries in order to serve the interests of both the Lebanese and Syrian peoples and the interest of the Arab world.”
