REPORT: Electoral law committee holds meeting

A meeting for the electoral law committee was held on Tuesday in order to discuss reforms.

There was split in views among the ministers whereby some of them supported the use of mega centers, while others rejected such an idea.

At the end of the meeting, Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq left without giving any comment.

For his part, Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil said that his party will fight with all strength to approve reforms.

This as Minister of Sports and Youth Mohammad Fneish said that establishing mega centers for the upcoming elections is “impossible.”
