Berri dismayed at electricity plight

During his meeting with Wednesday Deputies, Speaker Nabih Berri said Wednesday that it is no longer acceptable to remain quiescent over this situation. He added that the Cabinet must espouse key decisions in that respect during its next meeting on forthcoming June 27.
He also broached the issue of blocking Airport Road and said contacts were being underway with the concerned parties to curb such escalatory steps.

Separately, Berri met with the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abdul Karim Ali, and discussed the current situation on both the Lebanese and Syrian scenes.
