Retired teachers protest outside Grand Serail

Retired Lebanese teachers staged a protest outside the Grand Serail on Thursday, calling for the equalization of the retirement pension of secondary school teachers to that of retired judges and LU professors in terms of benefits and compensations.

The protesters also confirmed adherence to the principles of equality between retired teachers enjoying the same category, grade, class and services.

The teachers also called for granting secondary school teachers the 6 grades provided for by the relevant draft law.
