The confrontation session between LBCI Chairman Pierre El Daher and Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea, originally scheduled for today (Monday May 14), was postponed until June 22 after Geagea filed to attend, citing security reasons.
Commenting on the reasons used for Geagea’s absence, El Daher said: “I completely understand his security situation but I don’t understand how is it so difficult to get to the Justice Palace while Geagea goes to restaurants and ceremonies so easily?”
Eh Daher stressed that in case Geagea insisted on moving the confrontation session to Maarab instead of the Justice Palace, “we will insist that the alternative location be LBCI studios.”
